PROFILE:We have particular expertise in trouble shooting, growth problems, reorganisation and integration. Our role can be advisory, however most of our work has historically been hands-on. So although the majority of this work is done as Interim Manager, other possible scenarios include direct support to the Board in a capacity similar to a non-executive Director.
Recently we have implemented a company wide integration scheme for a pan-European multinational, which had acquired a number of companies in it's recent growth and needed to establish a corporate culture in all these acquisitions to create a company wide feeling of identity.
Our speciality is cross-cultural (and often multilingual) operations and as such we have worked extensively for "foreign" companies in the UK, for UK companies abroad and for US companies in Europe.
Philosophy:To apply and implement strategic change we need the support from the higher echelons of your company, whether this be the Managing Director, CEO, parent company or board. We are quite prepared to spend the necessary time in this area to agree the strategy, and rather than disappear off the scene our workstyle tends towards taking the responsibility for or assisting you with the implementation.
Our preference is to work with your operational team as much as possible. Once the project is complete, and we disappear from the scene, your team will have to run the operation. It will be so much easier for them to do so effectively when they have been intimately involved in the changes.
Obviously this is not always appropriate or possible and, if required, we can provide all members of the team necessary to achieve the required strategic changes.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Establishment of European wide corporate culture. Parent company major South African multinational; Successfully managed growth of small Management Consultancy into multi-site, £1.5M T/O Plc; Pan European Company efficiency improvement programme, resulting in 25M Euro savings in first year. Business re-engineering project: successfully reorganised Sales Office Structure and staffing, increasing Sales from £6M to £9.5M in consecutive financial years. Designed, developed and implemented a computerised Sales data, quotation and order processing system. Provision of computerised project management information system. Simplified and automated finance and administrative procedures. Substantially improved cashflow by improving credit control system. Directed Office relocation, incorporating facilities for growth and advances in technology. Successfully completed the administrative and operational integration of acquired companies. Reorganised procedures and documentation in view of TQM initiative, allowing subsequent qualification for BS5750. Designed, developed and implemented a company-wide performance appraisal scheme.
