Business re-engineering project. Successfully reorganised UK International Sales Office Structure and Staffing. Included the design, development and implementation of a computerised Sales data, Quotation and Order Processing system; Major Move project amalgamating three separate offices into one new building. Practical Input on design and fit out aspects during build of new premises, in particular relating to providing a robust environment to withstand potential impact on business continuity; Stage One of a major Business Continuity Planning exercise involving various members of an offshore group located within different countries. Including the design and development of practical measures to increase both resilience and response to any disaster and setting up of documentary framework, within HQ requirements, for the production of a full Business Continuity plan; Setting up of computerised administration and accounts system for German subsidiary of a UK holding company. Including locating and incorporating previous trading data and the recruitment and training of German Staff; Major western European roll out of a company wide process using a team based improvement programme to reduce inefficiencies (and improve profits!); Creation of a new company identity and culture within a recently merged group of companies ; Development of bespoke software package for major German based Car insurance company; Selection of appropriate software for company wide standardisation. Successful implementation of update programme matching needs of different sites and user types. Included the design and leading of In-house software and hardware training; Successful crisis management as Interim Finance Director of a Computer company; Reorganisation of procedures and documentation in view of TQM initiative, allowing subsequent qualification for BS5750; Sale of German subsidiary of UK parent company to US owned German company; Design, development and implementation of a company wide Staff Performance Appraisal system; Successfully completed the administrative integration of acquired companies; Management of European initiative on Road/driving safety for major US multinational; Various Office relocation projects, design of offices incorporating facilities for growth and advances in technology, business continuity planning and undertaking the move; Various promotional, customer satisfaction and Marketing Projects.
