Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery - Offer 1:

A one-day BCP Healthcheck.

These are the details of the offer:
We are pleased to confirm that this special offer will run throughout 2007.
We are offering a one day BCP Healthcheck at a special rate of (or, if outside the UK, equivalent to) £500.

A BCP review or “Healthcheck” generally entails a combination of documentation review combined with time on site discussing the implementation and experience of BCP with key (usually internal) stakeholders (e.g. members of your team upon whose shoulders the responsibility for plan-activation would fall in the event of an incident). Through the application of our experience of good practice, together with extensive analytical questionnaires and templates, we are able to build up a comprehensive picture of the client’s BCP “maturity”. Such reviews can be either “academic” or purely “practical” in nature – depending on the specific goals and needs of the client. For example a review might be undertaken to provide a comparison or gap analysis against PAS56 (the emerging BCP standard in the UK with potential for wider international recognition in the future).

Alternatively we will simply provide a pragmatic analysis of the extent to which a client’s BCP framework seems likely to perform as expected or intended following a disaster – where pragmatism is regarded as more important than benchmarking to a specified standard.

Such reviews will almost always result in recommendations (according to the depth and scope of the engagement) as to potential weaknesses in the plans that we review (usually in the assumptions and expectations that form the basis of such plans). These will range from “quick wins” with immediate benefits and low investment requirements to longer term strategic recommendations that, perhaps, require greater levels of resource but may be supported by a sound business case.

The one-day Healthcheck is a compressed snapshot of this - a pacy review resulting in a number of hints and recommendations for you to develop and improve your Business Continuity and general resilience.

If you complete the form below, we will contact you to discuss your needs and to agree reimbursement for our travel costs (which we will try and minimise) and agree a suitable date for both parties.
We will allocate a suitable Consultant (with appropriate language skills if required) who will provide advice during their visit to your company and will also provide a report with recommendations within 21 days of the visit.
The only additional requirement is for you to pay the agreed travel costs. Whether or not you wish to pursue our recommendations, and with whom, is entirely up to you.
