About the course:
A one-day advanced communication skills workshop packed with tips, tools and techniques to enable participants to develop even more effective relationships with the people who matter to them in business – customers, staff and suppliers. A pre-course questionnaire enables the detailed content to be tailored to the needs of all participants and their business.
The format of the day is highly interactive – participants are encouraged to discuss and find solutions for their own communication challenges. They will leave with an action plan of what they plan to do differently as a result of the course – and how they plan to do it.
Typically, by the end of the day, participants will be able to:
- Understand more about what is involved in effective two-way communication
- Build rapport quickly and easily in a variety of situations
- Identify and match language patterns used by others
- Find out what other people really want through effective listening and questioning techniques
- Detect what “buttons to press” to motivate others
- Set outcomes for successful interaction
- Handle challenging relationships by understanding the other person’s point of view
- Deliver meaningful presentations to larger audiences.
