Our Experience
| The Head of our Business Continuity team is a Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute.
He is a specialist in business continuity management who is recognised throughout the world, playing a key role in the development and formation of the Business Continuity Institute which went on to become the recognised professional certification body for the world-wide business continuity and disaster recovery profession. He has also contributed or participated in a number of forums developing business continuity standards and codes of practice in the UK, USA and Australia. |
| His no. 2 has over 17 years of BCP experience, originally with an American Multi-national. Since then he has worked with other large multinationals, merchant banks and major insurance companies in improving their resistance to potential disasters. A “survivor” of around half-a dozen invocations, he is most proud of the work done in Australia, in a Disaster Recovery role. It concerned a chemical based factory, which was totally destroyed by fire. The project was completed with a successful result, particularly in retaining all staff and increasing the customer’s client base during the invocation period of around twelve months. |
| Among the Team we have a German based consultant with many years of manufacturing orientated experience, who has just completed his Ph.D. with a thesis on Disaster Recovery relating to the floods in Germany over the last few years; a Chartered Accountant, who has experience of planning to meet the requirements as laid down by the Turnbull report and the FSA; a Media Crisis Management specialist, and a number of experienced BCP practitioners. |
